Risant Health Expands Reach with INTEGRIS Health Acquisition

Risant Health has signed a definitive agreement to acquire INTEGRIS Health, an Oklahoma-based nonprofit health system, marking the third system to join the organization. The move represents another step in Risant's strategy to build a national network of community health systems.

INTEGRIS Health operates multiple hospitals and clinics across Oklahoma, serving patients throughout the state. The system has a significant presence in the region and provides a range of medical services, from primary care to specialized treatment.

Risant Health was established by Kaiser Permanente as part of its broader effort to expand value-based care models to more communities. The organization focuses on supporting community health systems by providing resources, technology, and operational expertise while allowing local leadership to maintain control over day-to-day operations.

Kaiser Permanente has indicated that Risant intends to continue adding community hospitals to its network. The model aims to help independent health systems remain viable in an increasingly challenging healthcare environment by offering access to capital, digital tools, and population health management strategies.

The acquisition of INTEGRIS Health follows Risant's previous additions of Geisinger and Cone Health. Each system joining the network retains its local brand and community focus while gaining access to the resources and expertise of the larger organization.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory review and other customary closing conditions. If completed, INTEGRIS Health would become the third system in the Risant network, further extending its geographic footprint into the Oklahoma market.

The deal reflects a growing trend of health systems seeking partnerships to achieve economies of scale and improve operational efficiency while maintaining their community-oriented missions.
