SHANGHAI, February 01, 2026--A new strategic collaboration has been formed between Tenacia Biopharmaceuticals and Golden Age Health (GAH) to commercialize the therapy ZTALMY® in mainland China. This alliance focuses on addressing a critical unmet medical need for patients with CDKL5 deficiency disorder (CDD), a rare and severe genetic neurological condition.
ZTALMY represents the first and only treatment specifically approved for CDD. The disorder, which primarily affects children, is characterized by difficult-to-control seizures and severe neurodevelopmental impairments. The partnership will leverage GAH's extensive commercial infrastructure and deep market expertise to ensure this groundbreaking therapy reaches patients across China.
Officials from both companies emphasized the significance of this milestone for the rare disease community in China. They stated that the collaboration underscores a shared commitment to improving the standard of care and bringing innovative treatment options to families who have long awaited targeted therapeutic interventions. The move is seen as a vital step forward in expanding global access to specialized medicines for genetic disorders.
